July 24th
RADIO SHOW
errorfm
with Alan Lohr
www.errorfm.com presents award winning poet Laurel Ann Bogen and musician Janet Klein on Saturday July 24th at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) as part of BuddhaMan’s International Experience hosted by former KROQ Radio Personality Alan K. Lohr, now know on radio as BuddhaMan.
The avant-garde performance will be broadcast to 44 countries and over 50,000 listeners all over the world.
Bogen is the author of ten books of poetry and short fiction, the most recent of which is Washing a Language, published by Red Hen Press. She is a founding member of the celebrated poetry performance ensemble Nearly Fatal Women and has been an instructor in the Writers’ Program at UCLA Extension since 1990. Well-known for her lively readings, she was noted in the Orange County Weekly as “the nearly undisputed Empress of SoCal poetry.”
Klein and her band The Parlor Boys have been enchanting audiences world-wide with “obscure, naughty and lovely tunes” from the 1910s, 20s and 30s. They perform regularly at historic theaters and landmark venues in Hollywood and throughout the U.S. Their 7th CD entitled “Whoopee Hey Hey!...tunes to cheer in tumultuous times” is nearing completion. She plays a mean ukulele.
To listen, go to the site, www.errorfm.com and it will automatically start to play the current broadcast.
There is nothing to download.
The broadcast performance will be for one hour.
